Gloucester Charities Trust (GCT) can proudly trace its roots back through the years to the provision of charitable care and support to those in need by the monks of St Peter's Abbey in 12th Century Gloucester. Over the subsequent centuries the charity has evolved to meet the changing needs of the local population which it serves.

Today in the 21st Century it remains a well established, efficient and relevant provider of housing and care services for older people in Gloucestershire. The Trust is managed on a day to day basis by the Chief Executive, Kathryn Lewis, who is accountable to the Board of Trustees.

The Trust is registered to provide housing and support services for older people and owns and manages:-

Are you looking for daytime support for an older person who is living with dementia, anxiety or depression? Then why not consider The Kimbrose Club - and what I hear you ask, is the Kimbrose Club?

The Kimbrose Club is a new daytime support service, primarily for older people who are living with dementia, or with anxiety and depression. We aim to provide a flexible, person-centred environment for our members and to support and provide information to their carers and families.

The Club is for older people who have a diagnosis of dementia, depression or anxiety. We aim to provide a supportive social environment in which a range of psychological and physical needs can be met. We will also offer support and information to carers and families. We are open from Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm.

Lunch and refreshments are provided during the day.
